Connie Mack Berry

Born in 1915, Spartanburg, SC.
Played football, baseball, and basketball at NC State and professionally
Led Southern Conference basketball in scoring while at State in both 1936 and 1937
Played for the National Basketball League’s Oshkosh All-Stars in the 1940s
Played eight seasons in NFL, five with the Chicago Bears
Helped Chicago win 1943 and 1946 NFL titles
Caught 45 passes in NFL career
Played minor league baseball for several years
Retired to Fayetteville, where he died in 1980
