- As a center at Duke, earned All-ACC honors in all three of his varsity seasons from 1969–1971
- Led the Blue Devils in scoring and rebounding during his entire career
- Named All-American as a senior, posted career averages of 19.7 points and 12.7 rebounds per game
- Played eight seasons professionally
