John “Red” O’Quinn

- Wide receiver at Wake Forest University
- Led nation in pass receptions in 1948
- Caught 124 passes for 1,990 yards and 22 touchdowns in college career
- Also played basketball for two years
- Played for NFL’s Chicago Bears in 1951–1952 and Philadelphia Eagles in 1952
- Played for Montreal Alouettes of Canadian Football League from 1953–1960
- Became Alouettes general manager, leading club to four Grey Cup titles
- Member Canadian Football League Hall of Fame
- Died in 2002
