- Played three seasons with the NFL’s Washington Redskins and one with New York Giants
- Rushed for 1,109 career yards and caught 14 passes
- Earned medical degree from University of Tennessee while playing football
- Opened numerous clinics in Fresno, CA
- Honored by NFL with 1999 Alumni Career Achievement Award
